An informational town hall meeting will be held in Jefferson about the lawsuit against Syngenta Seed.

Attorneys with MidwestCornLawsuit.com will go over information with the litigation against Syngenta Seed. They claim that in 2009 Syngenta released a new strain of corn seed into the US market before receiving import approval from China. US corn shipments were rejected by China in 2013 and 2014, which they believe caused a global collapse in US corn prices.

The public is invited to the free event at noon at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson on Monday, July 11th.
