Greene County Extension is looking for adult mentors for the Kids With a Connection program.

Director Lori Mannel says they match up adults with youth that need a positive role model in their lives.

“We are very much in need of mentors, so an adult who is willing to spend about an hour or so a week with a child. You can listen, you help coach and educate them, and just help them through the daily trials that they may have or just go out and have a little fun.”

The program is made possible through grants from the Iowa Department of Human Services and Decategorization mini grants.
