A portion of 10th Street in Perry will remain closed for at least another week.
According to the City, the contractor, JRS Excavating, has around 85 percent of the pavement between Otley Avenue and Evelyn Street installed but a sanitary sewer conflict has delayed the project. The lines have been inspected and are now scheduled to be replaced as part of the project but this additional step has added another week of work. JRS will continue to work on the 10th Street and Otley Avenue intersection this week and the pavement is expected to be replaced next week. The City’s goal is to have the road reopened after November 11th.
