Boone’s Dresden Wilson tossed a five-hit shut out Thursday night as the Toreadors blanked Perry 9-0 in RRC baseball action at Memorial Stadium.  Wilson needed only 93 pitches and scattered five hits with no walks in earning the complete game victory.  Boone jumped on the board early scoring 4 runs in the first and 1 more in the second.  Kyle Nevitt started for Perry and pitched 2 innings.  He fought his control walking 6 while allowing 3 hits and 5 earned runs.  Austin Carpenter finished the game for Perry allowing 4 runs in 4 innings pitched.

Janier Puente finished with two of Perry’s five hits.  Brandon  Kenyon, Alexis Garrido and Kyle Nevitt all added singles.

Perry falls to 1-5 and 1-1 in RRC play.  The Bluejays return to Progressive Field tonight for a 7:30 game against ADM.  You can listen to the game on KDLS.
