The inaugural season of Panorama Panther varsity soccer came to an end Friday evening in Gilbert. The No. 2 Gilbert Tigers girls soccer team proved to be too much for Panorama’s rookie squad, winning 5-0 in the Class 1A Region 2 semifinal. The Panthers season ends with a record of 12-5 overall with all five blemishes coming against teams with records above .500. The future appears bright for Panorama girls soccer team. The squad expects to return five of their top six goal scorers from this season including freshman Audrey Cmelik, Paige Cmelik, and Ella Waddle, who accounted for 59 of the Panthers 83 goals scored this spring. Panorama girls soccer team graduates six players off their first varsity squad in program history.
