Next week’s RAGBRAI festivities aren’t just for the visitors… all area residents are invited to participate as well.

Whether you want to people watch or join in on the unique activities happening around town, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson encourages everyone check it out.

Plus there’s free entertainment downtown Perry all afternoon. Full schedule can be found below.

 

 

Main Stage – Decoy and Hairball:

Cost to enter the beverage garden (21+ age area) AND the under 21 area is $5.00  Note:  no bikes allowed, no pets allowed, all bags will be searched, no coolers, no outside drinks allowed.  IF you have a registered rider wristband OR have a Perry RAGBRAI 2013 t-shirt cost = free to enter these areas.

 

Other entertainment options around town:

Bicycle Comedian at the Perry Performing Arts Center, Perry High School.  5:30pm, 7pm, 8:30pm. Cost $7.00

Perry Grand 3 Theater, matinee and evening shows:  cost $6.00/each

5:00 pm & 7:00 pm;  Live owl presentation(s) at the Carnegie Library presented by Pete Malmberg, Dallas County Naturalist.  Cost = free

RAGBRAI and BRR cartoons by Duffy at the Carnegie Library, walking exhibit open all day.  Cost = free

Forest Park Museum open until 8:00 pm.  Cost = free

Golf at Perry Golf and Country Club:  $20

McCreary Building full use of building:  $7

Swimming at Perry Golf and Country Club:  $5

Inflatable Pig Bounce House: Pattee Park; open until 9:00 pm

Inflatable Jousting:  Pattee Park; open until 9:00 pm

Laser Tag:  Pattee Park; open until 9:00 pm

Water Tag:  Pattee Park; open until 9:00 pm

Rock Climbing Wall:  Pattee Park; open until 9:00 pm
