Don’t forget, the third and final Perry Sesquicentennial Trivia Contest will be held tonight at La Poste.

Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti is hopeful for a big turnout for the event, and she emphasizes that it’s not just for the hardcore trivia fans. “Even if you don’t know a whole lot about Perry or have lived here for a long time, you might learn something and it’s just a fun atmosphere, very casual. I’ve seen some of the questions already, and it’s kind of all over the place in terms of, ‘Oh, everybody should know that,’ or like, ‘You might know that!’ And then some other ones that will just be difficult no matter what, no matter how much you prepare for it. So it’s just fun and it’s all meant to be a fundraiser for Sesquicentennial, so it’s all in good fun anyway!”

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Chris Cohea will once again serve as emcee for the Sesquicentennial Trivia. The cost to participate is $10 per person, and teams can be up to eight people. Competitors can also purchase mulligans for $1 each, which can be used for one free answer per round for each team. Additionally, there will be food and drinks available for purchase and free snacks at every table, courtesy of La Poste. The doors open tonight at 6 p.m., with the contest starting at 6:30.
