The Perry School Board will be meeting in regular session on Monday.

The board will consider for approval a couple of requests from the School Budget Review Committee (SBRC) of $1.1 million for the Special Education Deficit and $31,585 for English Learner Excess costs, for 2024-25. 

Other items on the agenda seeking approval include accepting a contract with Stericycle, an observation agreement with the Des Moines Area Community College, a 2025-26 School Improvement Advisory Committee list, Teacher Leadership Committee contracts for the current school year, purchasing state t-shirts for qualified athletes and activities for motivation, recognition, and continued excellence; accepting an early graduation request for a student, and the board will set a date for a public hearing on the district’s flexibility account.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place on Monday inside the Perry High School Brady Library, 1200 18th Street, at 6pm.
