The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.
The council will hold two public hearings related to each other, as the first will be on a proposed amendment to the Urban Renewal Area in order to update the description for the A.D.R. Axles USA Incorporated development project, and the second will be on that proposed development agreement with the company.
Following the hearings, the council will then look to approve a resolution for the Urban Renewal Plan amendment, followed by resolutions for a development agreement with A.D.R. Axles USA Incorporated to authorize the annual appropriation tax increment payments, and another one to accept the economic development assistance contract between A.D.R. Axles USA Incorporated, the City of Perry, and Iowa Economic Development Authority.
The other items on the agenda seeking approval include a resolution to set a public hearing for voluntary annexation from Semper Fi Commercial Solutions LLC, and appointing members to the Board of Adjustment and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
The meeting is open to the public and is taking place inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry on Monday at 6pm. There will be a virtual option available for those who can not attend. The link can be found by clicking here.
