The AC/GC Chargers are participating in their first match of the postseason tonight.

It’s the Class 2A Region 4 Quarterfinals, and the 23-11 Chargers will be facing the 8-26 AHSTW Vikings. AC/GC is led by some great athletes, including junior Stella Largent, who leads the entire state in kill attempts per set across all classes. She leads the team in kills with 5.6 per set on 13.3 attempts, for 6.2 points per set for a kill efficiency of 26.9 percent. Senior Becca Littler leads in assists and serve aces, with 706 assists and 8.2 per set, along with 0.6 aces on 3.6 attempts. Junior Nora Langaard leads in total blocks with 24, averaging 0.3 per set, and fellow junior Ilana Baumert leads in digs with 267 and 3.1 per set.

For the Vikings, junior Kendra Hansen leads in assists and serve aces, with 376 assists for an average of 4.8 per set, and 0.4 kills on 3.3 attempts. Fellow junior Addison Carroll leads in kills with 2.3 per set for 2.6 points and kill efficiency of 10 percent. Junior Maeleigh Rold leads in blocks with 30 for 0.3 per set, while Kennedy Wyman leads in digs with 244 for 2.8 per set.

The Chargers play host this round, with the match to start at 7pm.
