Last year’s memorable run came to an end against Dallas Center Grimes.  This year, the Perry boys basketball team hopes to start a memorable run against the Mustangs.  Perry will travel to Adel on Monday, February 22nd for a 3A district opener against Dallas Center Grimes.  The winner of that game will take on the winner of ADM and Boone on Thursday at Johnston high school.  DCG defeated Perry earlier this season 67-62 at the Meadows in Grimes and more importantly, ended Perry’s remarkable run last season in the substate final in overtime.  Tip off is slated for 6:30 on Monday night and can be heard with Shawn Kenney on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
