A vehicle was seen on fire along Iowa Highway 141 just east of the City of Perry early Monday afternoon.
A gold SUV facing westbound on Highway 141 had previously caught on fire, and as the Perry Fire Department was controlling it, there were visible plumes of smoke eroding from the front engine area. There were no other passenger vehicles at the scene, as first responders were there. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office was detouring traffic westbound off of Highway 141 and onto “M Avenue,” while crews were cleaning up the scene.
At this time, it is unknown whether there are any casualties or anyone injured, nor is there a cause known for the fire at this time. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
