Andrea Kirk, Jason Krueger, Ari Vasquez, and Kayla Pruitt served as State Officers this year. They did great job representing Perry with dedication, passion, and loyalty throughout the year and helped to conduct an exciting Opening Ceremony and Awards / Closing Ceremony.
New this year at state the election of next year’s state officers was held. Perry had four students interested in runnign for office and gave speeches on Thursday night! All four were elected this for this years Officer team. They are Micheal Reuter, Kayla Pruitt, Jason Krueger, and Andrea Kirk.
The entire community should be very proud of all the hard work and effort that these students put in to these competitions. Another great thing about this activity is the students must work in the concessions stand and raise money to cover the costs of the expenses to attend the events connected with this organization including dues, registration, hotel, and transportation. This is a huge commitment of time and dedication for these students, but is well earned as well as worth the time that they must put in.
The Students were accompanied by advisors Darin Steva and Curt Cornelius. Thanks to chaperone Heather Culberton and Karren Sackett for taking time to help us out.
