Karen Schleiffarth, 64, of Earlham (formerly Greenfield), died May 24th, 2012.

A service will be held in honor of Karen on Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield, IA with burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter on a later date. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com. There will also be a family visitation on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield. The family will establish a memorial fund in Karen’s name on a later date.

Karen is survived by her husband, Eugene Schleiffarth of Earlham; two daughters, Melissa Kendrick and James of Earlham and Patricia Swan and Mark of Earlham; grandson, Jared Dory; sister, Joyce von Rentzell of Earlham; and other relatives and friends.
