Have you ever wanted to learn about bees?  Well this weekend could be your chance.

The Spring Valley Honey Farm is celebrating their 100 year anniversary and hosting an open house event Saturday.

There will be a variety of free events for all ages including face painting, a beeswax candle making activity, kids’ games and tours of the farm.

The event is sponsored by the Iowa Honey Producers and takes place Saturday from 1-3pm at Spring Valley Honey Farm at 14405 Hull Avenue in Perry.
