Those looking to take in the Iowa State Fair this summer but would rather skip the traffic and parking hassle have another option on August 10th.
The State Fair Express is stopping in five spots in the Raccoon River Valley that Friday. Riders will be picked up in Guthrie Center at 7:40am, Coon Rapids at 8:00, Dallas Center at 8:15, Perry at 8:45 and Adel at 9:10.
Tickets range from $22-$26 for adults and $18-$22 for kids, depending on pick-up/drop-off location. That includes round trip transportation in a motor coach, fair admission, a bottle of water, fair coupon book and a daily program.
The express will arrive at the fair around 10am Friday August 10th and depart at 6pm. Tickets can be reserved up to one week before departure by calling 888-494-6378 or visiting Windstar.com/Iowa-State-Fair.php.
