The Adel Lions Club is currently looking for volunteers for The National Beep Baseball World Series, July 22nd through July 28th, in Ames.

Beep baseball is an adaptation of America’s favorite past time that was developed for blind and visually impaired individuals.  In the game, the ball actually beeps throughout the game while the bases buzz to help lead the players to them.

Volunteer work will include base and field work, dog watching, escorting, field umpiring, hospitality, score keeping, setup, switch operators and providing local information at hotels.
