Dozens of Perry residents stopped by the Raccoon Valley Bank Thursday to send good wishes to Robert Baird.

The outgoing president is retiring after 13 years at the bank and says it’s been a joy to be part of the Perry community.

When asked what he’s most excited for in retirement, Baird says nothing in particular but he is looking forward to having some extra freedom and thanks his co-workers and customers for their support.

Terry Nielsen has been hired as the new president of Raccoon Valley Bank.
