The Greene County Genealogical Society will hold their monthly meeting this Saturday.

After the short business meeting the group will visit the Greene County Historical Society Museum and tour the latest “50’s” exhibit.  As always, guests are welcome to attend.

The meeting takes place at 10am Saturday in the Jefferson Public Library.

In related news, the Genealogical Society has purchased the remaining Greene County Heritage Books.  There are less than 90 copies remaining.  Those wanting to pick one up can stop by the basement of the Jefferson Public Library on Wednesdays from 1-4pm or Saturday from 9am to noon.
