The Greene County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Monday.

At the meeting, the board was notified that Nick Crouse has submitted plans for two hog confinement buildings in North Junction Township, Jefferson City Administrator Mike Palmer gave an update on the streetscape plans for the next couple weeks and Chris Henning updated the board on the Jefferson Matters – Main Street project.

The board also approved up to $5,000 for the Spring Lake cabins project.  Conservation director Dan Towers requested the money from the County’s Dreyfus fund to help construct the two rental cabins planned this year.  The project is expected to cost around $80,000 to complete, including funds from the County, the Greene County Community Foundation, conservation reserve and Resource Enhancement and Production funds.

The board also approved the auditor signing E-911 checks and heard a report from engineer Wade Weiss.
