The Dallas County Hospital is offering another Safe Sitter course later this month.
This time the class will take place in the History Room of the Waukee Public Library on Monday August 13th.
Safe Sitter is for teens ages 11-15. Participants will learn how, why and where injuries can happen and how to prevent them. The teens will learn lifesaving techniques such as CPR, ways to prevent problem behavior and how to run their own babysitting business.
The class will be held from 9:30am-4:30pm on the 13th. The cost is $25 which includes lunch. Space is limited and registration must be completed by August 9th.
