Back to school events are in full swing in Guthrie Center.
Monday the district is holding an open house from 5:30-6:30pm. This offers an opportunity for parents to walk through the classrooms and meet their children’s teachers.
Classes for the 2012-2013 school year start on Wednesday, though there is an early dismissal of 2:05pm for elementary students and 2:30pm dismissal for those in junior and senior high.
Students will also get a break at the end of the month as classes get out early August 30th for the kick-off of the All School reunion, and there’s no school August 31st, so families can enjoy the Guthrie County Fair.
