The Perry City Council will meet in regular session this evening.
Items on the agenda include the first reading of an ordinance amending city code in regards to animal protection and control, a public hearing in regards to a loan agreement for an equipment purchase and approval of sale of public property at 702 Grove Street.
The Council will also consider approval of permanent bank protection easements for the Roberts Family Trust and Garreans/Young, approval tax compliance procedures, approval of City contribution for the Perry downtown assessment visit and approval of an agreement with Perry Water Works for administrative services.
Finally the council will set a public hearing and call for bids for the 18th/North Street sanitary sewer and approve full time hires for the police and park and recreation departments.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
