Back to school events continue across the area.
Perry Elementary is hosting their back to school night Monday. It’s an opportunity for parents and their children to take a walk through the classrooms and meet teachers prior to school starting.
Students with last names that start with A through L should plan to stop by the elementary between 4:45 and 5:45pm. Last names starting with M through Z should come between 6 and 7pm.
Kindergarten orientation will take place from noon to 8pm on Tuesday. The first day of school for first through 5th graders is Wednesday, with a one hour early dismissal. Kindergarteners start on Thursday and preschool classes will begin August 30th.
