New name, but same rivalry.  Perry and Greene County will renew one of the longest standing rivalries tonight when the two collide at Linduska field tonight.  Perry head coach Jason Olenjzack says preparation has been more difficult this year because he just doesn’t know what the newly acquired East Greene kids will bring to the table.

“They’ve added some new bodies from East Greene, so we’re not sure what to expect.  They have great tradition and an interesting team coming back with the new players so they’re probably as unknown to us as we are to them.”

Olenjzack stated that his team can’t grind it out so they need big plays on offense, while conversely limiting the big plays for Greene County.

Kick off is 7:30 tonight and can be heard on KDLS and KG 98.
