Perry families are encouraged to participate in an information gathering workshop next month that aims to identify some of the best places in town.

An Iowa State University professors and her Community and Regional Planning students will be conducting the workshop on September 20th.  They’re looking for individuals and entire households, including children ages 14-17, to participate.

Attendees will be asked to describe the places they go to most in Perry.  Where they get their information and assistance, what features in the City make their lives easier and what areas are the most important to their family.

The small groups will identify these places on a map and the students will then evaluate the input received and do what they can to help protect the important places in Perry.

The fun and informative meeting will also feature free pizza and childcare.

The workshop takes place Thursday September 20th from 6-7:30pm at the Perry Elks Club.
