The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday morning.

Items on the agenda include review of the safety committee’s recommendation for an emergency action plan, approval of a temporary road closure at the railroad crossing of P53 and approval of a tax abatement resolution with the city of West Des Moines.

The Supervisors will also consider a city of Dexter local option sales tax request, retain records stored at Ahlers and Cooney, discuss wetland mitigation credits and consider a purchase extension request from the City of Des Moines.  The board will also discuss and set a public hearing in regards to a 2012-2013 budget amendment.

At 9:30 the board will hold a public hearing in regards to the supplemental food program.

The meeting begins at 9am in the board room of the Dallas County Courthouse.
