The Jefferson City Council will meet in regular session Tuesday.
Items on the agenda include consideration of a request from Greene County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ken Paxton to have a council member join the Bell Tower Committee and the third and final reading of an ordinance amendment in regards to spring and fall pickup of bulky rubbish – limiting the use of two free hoppers and increasing the additional hopper charge to $25.
The council will also consider approval of a contract with Hollbrook for water line replacement at High Street between Monroe and Harrison Streets at the cost of $24,590, approval of the 2011-2012 road use tax report and setting a date for the 2013-2014 priority workshop.
The meeting takes place Tuesday at 5:30pm in the council chambers of the Jefferson City Hall.
