The Rippey Post Office is asking all residents to check their mail and make sure they return a survey that could help keep the office open.
The post office has sent out surveys that may look like junk mail or “fake” letters to some, but really they are important letters from the post office asking for input on whether or not they think the Rippey office should remain open.
In order to remain in operation, the post office needs at least 60% of the surveys returned from residents checking the “keep my office open with realigned weekday window service hours” box.
Surveys must be returned by October 10th. A public hearing to discuss the future of the library will also be scheduled for October 24th at 4pm to gather more input.
