The Greene County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Monday.
At the meeting, the Steve Ogden and Quinton Williamson from ImageTek discussed options for moving the county’s land record documents to the “cloud” along with initial setup fees and annual costs.
The board also unanimously approved $3,000 in matching funds for the Region XII council of government’s application to the Iowa Housing Trust Fund. The money will be used for housing needs for low income residents.
Next the board accepted the Treasurer’s investment and driver’s license reports for July and August and approved Supervisor Guy Richardson as the countersigner for county checks greater than $40,000.
The board then approved fund transfers of $175,000 from the Local Option Sales and Services Tax fund and $50,000 from the General Basic Fund to the secondary roads fund.
Finally the board approved tax abatement requests from the Thomas Jefferson Foundation for four parcels of land that will be part of the Thomas Jefferson Gardens at a total amount of $616.
