The Guthrie County Conservation Board will once again sponsor the Annual Halloween Hike at Nations Bridge Park just north of Stuart on October 18 at 7:00 P.M.
Several mini programs will be given throughout the hike pertaining to environmental, conservation and natural resource related information.
Guthrie County Conservation Natural Resource Manager Brad Halperman says the informational topics have changed since last year and return visitors will be able to hear different presentations given that evening. Following the hike, snacks and drinks will be served.
The 2012 Halloween Hike is open to the public and participants who wish to attend must pre-register by October 12.
If you have further questions, or for registration, call 641-755-3061. Halperman says reservations will be open until the hike is full. They are starting to fill spots, but there’s still plenty room for more Halperman added.
