The Waukee community will celebrate the completion of the new Raccoon River Valley Trailhead this weekend.

The City will host a ribbon-cutting Saturday morning at 955 West Hickman Road.  The trailhead is located where the two routes of the trail come together.  The new facility includes restrooms, new landscaping, benches, shading structures and other furnishings.

The event takes place at 9am and all area residents are invited to come celebrate the trail’s new amenity.
