Both the Perry boys and girls placed two on the All Conference squad as the teams competed in the 2012 Raccoon River Conference meet last night in Winterset.  Senior Daisy Cerna led the Jayettes with a ninth place finish, while freshman McKenzie Olson was 14th with a time of 16.46.  Other varsity runners included Meredith Olson 30th, Leah Rider 32nd, and Jessie Laughridge 39th.  Perry finished 5th out of 9 teams.  DCG edged Winterset for the team crown.

The Perry boys placed 6th out of 8 teams.  The Bluejays placed two on the All Conference roster with strong showings by Christian Morales (19th) and Victor Trinidad (20th).  Youngster Zach Roberts just missed the All Conference criteria after a strong race.  Boone won the team title with 38 points.  DCG was second with 58 and Ballard right behind with 60 points.

Both Perry teams return to action this Thursday at the Saydel Classic.
