Its National 4-H Week and clubs across the country are celebrating what the organization means to them.
Greene County Extension Coordinator Michael Cooley says 4-H is one of the most popular youth organizations that offers opportunities for youth of all ages, backgrounds and interests.
This week Greene County 4-Hers are competing in window decorating contests and a newsletter scavenger hunt, with the winning club earning a pizza party.
Coming up later this month is New Member Night at Spare Time Lanes. New 4-Hers and youth who are considering joining 4-H, and their parents, are invited to enjoy free food and pizza Friday October 26th at 6pm.
For more information on available 4-H programs, contact your local ISU Extension Office.
