There are two opportunities to get out and support great local causes today.

The Friends of the Adel Public Library are hosting a bake sale today from 9am-5pm and tomorrow from 10am until noon.  In addition, and happening at the same time, is the last Friends’ garage sale of the year.

Also, the Adair County Hospital in Greenfield is hosting a New Books Are Fun book fair today. More than 250 books will be available in a variety of genres, providing something for readers of all ages and interests.  Proceeds from the sale will go to the Adair County Health Foundation.  It takes place from 10am-3pm in the Adair County Hospital dining room.
