U.S. Post Office patrons in three Dallas County communities might have to change the time of day they stop by to do their business.

Starting next year, the post offices in Dawson, Bouton and Minburn will have reduced hours.  In an effort to cut costs, the postal service is closing smaller offices across the county.

Once the new hours go into effect, Bouton’s office will be open 1-5pm Monday through Friday and 1-2:45pm on Saturday.  Minburn will be open from 11am-5pm during the week and 1-3:45 Saturday and Dawnson’s post office will be weekdays from 1-3pm and Saturday from 1-2:45pm.
