Jefferson residents are invited to enjoy some free popcorn during the first evening of Browse Coupon Weekend.

The Akton Club will be popping free popcorn in front of All Ability Cycles from 6-8pm Thursday.  Bike racks will be set up around the square to encourage community members to ride from store to store as they browse through deals and gather Browse Coupons for their holiday shopping.

All Ability Cycles co-owner John Brunow says the “square is looking better than ever.  The long range forecast is for a beautiful evening.  We think it can be a fun night riding bikes to the square, munching free popcorn and browsing for holiday deals.

Browse weekend is a Jefferson tradition.  Participating businesses encourage shoppers to look through their shops as they start their holiday shopping by distributing coupons worth a 20% discount on specific items.

In addition to Thursday’s event, the coupons will also be available Friday and Saturday and are good through Christmas Eve.
