The Greene County High School girls’ basketball team has been practicing and scrimmaging in preparation of the Nov. 20 season opener in Des Moines vs. Saydel. Coach Chad Morton’s Rams were in Boone on Monday night and took part in the Des Moines Area Community College jamboree in which they played two quarters vs. Madrid. The Rams easily out scored the Tigers and were led by senior Jennifer Kennedy’s 17 points in 12 minutes of playing time. Coach Morton reports all 14 girls in uniform for the jamboree were able to get playing time.

The November 20 action at Saydel is a JV/varsity doubleheader with the varsity game set for approximately 7:30 p.m. on KG98.
