“We have broken down our practices into two groups, the more developed kids are working on strategy and fundamentals while the younger less experienced groups are strictly keyed in on technique and fundamentals right now.  Conditioning has also been a key part of it as well.”

Despite the high number of kids, Menke has a good idea who the go to guys will be early in the season.

“Right now, you have to look at Will Whiton, Ben Daniels and Tory Brelsford as being our team leaders just because of the experience they bring to the table.  I am counting on big things from all three of those guys this year.  I also have complete confidence in Shammond Ivory, our freshman guard.  He will probably end up starting for us..he has put in the time this summer and is ready for the next level.”  Cavan Finn will also add depth to our backcourt with his shooting ability.”

Perry will open up their practice tonight for parents who want to watch a session.
