For three quarters it looked like Perry might have finally found a way to knock off Carroll in boys basketball.  Afterall, the Tigers had won 16 straight games in the series.  It was time…right….Unfortunately, the 4th quarter proved to be difference as Carroll stretched their win streak over Perry by going on a 15-2 run in the first 4 minutes of the final period in route to a 64-50 victory.  Perry was in control at halftime after a Shammon Ivory buzzer beating 3 pointer gave the Jays a 27-23 lead.  Perry managed to maintain a one point leading heading into the 4th quarter before disaster hit.  A season high 23 turnovers, 12 alone coming in the second half proved to be too much for Perry to overcome.  The Tigers were led by young sophomore Adison Ross who finished with 20 points and Cody Netusil’s 17 points and 13 rebounds.  Torry Brelsford and Will Whiton each had 12 points for Perry, while Cavan Finn chipped in 11 and Ivory 10.  Perry falls to 1-2 on the season and 0-2- in conference, while Carroll jumps to 2-0 in conference and 2-1 overall.
