Many Jefferson city and county offices are closed due to Christmas.

All the Greene County offices and the state clerk of court’s office will be closed today.  The Jefferson Public Library will also be closed.

The Jefferson city offices, city hall and the chamber are closed as well as, the Greene County Community Center in observance of Christmas.

The garbage route in Jefferson scheduled for today will be delayed to Wednesday and then every day after that will be pushed back to the next day.
