Saturday, December 22nd
Courtney Renee Terrall, age 26 of 1742 Bennett Dr., #19, West Des Moines was arrested at University and Jordan Creek Prkwy., for failure to obey stop light and OWI.
Mark Thighe of Blair, NE., was traveling east at the 108 mile marker of Interstate 80 when his vehicle was struck on the passengers front side by a vehicle driven by Spencer Krenke of Omaha, NE. Krenke lost control of his vehicle and spun out of control. No injuries reported. Damage to Thighe’s vehicle estimated at $3000 and $10000.
Due to the above accident traffic became very congested at the 108 mile marker of I-80. Stephanie Geshick of Bellevue, NE., slowed and attempted to move into the right lane colliding with the rear tandems on a vehicle driven by Troy Fernside of Council Bluffs, IA. No injuries reported. Damage to Geshick’s vehicle estimated at $5000.00 and $500.00 to Fernside’s.
Aboubaker Moosa Ahmed of Reedley, CA., was traveling in the 115 mile marker of Interstate 80 when he got very tired and lost control going into the ditch and striking the guard rail post. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2500 and $500 to the guard rail post.
Robert Cowen of Chariton was traveling in the 100 mile marker of Interstate 80 when he lost control due to the road conditions and went into the median tipping over on to the passenger side. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.
John Feely of Elysian, MN., was traveling in the 117 mile marker when he lost control due to the road conditions, striking several guard rail posts. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $7000 and $3500 to the guard rail posts.
Nicholas Howard of Moline, Ill., was traveling west in the 117 mile marker of Interstate 80 when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Lauren Blomme of Amherst, CO., due to the slick roads. No injuries reported. Damage to Blomme’s vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $2000.00 to Howard’s.
Daryle Bennett of Perry was traveling north on N Ave., when he signaled to make a left turn onto 180th. While making his turn a vehicle driven by Aubree Gilmore of Dawson attempted to pass Bennett’s vehicle and side swiped it causing damage to the front bumper. No injuries reported. Damage to Bennett’s vehicle estimated at $800.00 and $2000.00 to Gilmore’s. Gilmore was charged with failure to prove security against liability.
Sunday, December 23rd
William Myers, age 21 of 1820 Florence Dr., Waukee was traveling south on 340th Trail when he lost control due to the ice covered roads, entered the ditch and rolled over coming to rest on its wheels. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00. Myers and his passenger, Brooke Elizabeth Johnson, age 21 of 33846 Woodridge Rd., Adel were both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Monday, December 24th
Ricki Kevin Laughman, age 52 of 2300 Euclid., Ste B, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of false reports.
Edward Eugene Goff, age 34 of 407 Hager St., East, Grand Junction was arrested on a warrant for fraudulent practice, theft 3rd.
Nickolas Derek Shelton, age 27 of 1071 Mansfield Dr., Waukee was arrested in the 24000 block of N Ave., for driving while revoked.
Tuesday, December 25th
Rebecca White of Des Moines was traveling east at the 108 mile marker on Interstate 80 when she lost control and rolled over into the median. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4000.00.
Dylan Irving of 104 14th St., Apt. South, Dallas Center reported that someone had broken out the driver’s side window of his car while parked outside his resident.
