The Yale Community Club will host the 5th Annual Steak Fry on January 19. The doors of the Community Building will open at 5:00 P.M. to start off the night’s activities.
Grilled steaks will be served with all the trimmings at 6:00 P.M. The silent auction bidding will be underway until midway through the evening with the live auction expected to start around 7:15 P.M.
Not only will the crowd be entertained by the Laughery boys crying out the auction, the girls of Yale have got something planned that’ll have you laughing until the tears run down your cheeks.
Because it’s an anniversary year, a $500 cash donation has been given to help “boost” attendance and add fun for all; and will be given away in a variety of fun-filled games and activities.
It’s been reported that several nice guns have been lined up for prizes and auction. This year the gals will get equal treatment in a Coach Package that’s been added to the prize list that will equal the value of the guns and is sure to be a big hit with the ladies!
As usual, the auction will include all types of merchandise from seed corn to quilts, framed prints, goods and services.
The evening will conclude with a dance with music provided by a DJ
This is the big fundraiser for the Yale Community Club. The first four yearly events have made a big dent in the mortgage on the new Community Building and organizers are hoping for another successful year.
