Coming up with victories is difficult enough in the Raccoon River Conference with a completely healthy squad and unfortunately for the ADM girls’ basketball team, that is not the situation they find themselves in.

The Tigers recently lost Mallory Schultze for the season with shin splints.  The senior is second in the team in free throw shooting percentage and she has a lot of experience that the team will miss on the court, but Schultze can be seen at all the practices and games supporting her teammates and helping out in any way she can.  Then the injury bug bit sophomore Emily Hoffman in their victory over Carlisle on Tuesday as she reported some lower body pain following that contest.  Head coach Brett Watson said that she will be checked out today and while her status is not known for sure, his team has prepared to go forward under the assumption she will not face Bondurant-Farrar.

While it may be frustrating for a team to have to deal with such adversities that are out of their hands, Watson and his team have had a positive attitude and know that all they can do is take care of those things that are within their means to control.  The Tigers know that a win tonight against the Lady Jays would be a moral boost to all the ADM players, especially those who aren’t able to be on the court.

The Lincoln Savings Bank Pregame Show will kick off at 5:45 PM tonight, tip-off against Bondurant-Farrar is at 6 o’clock on 107.9, K-107.
