The Greene County Rams and South Hamilton Hawks will play a high school basketball girl/boy doubleheader tonight in Jewell. Coverage of the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference action begins at 5:45 p.m. on KGRA, 98.9 FM, with the girls’ game starting at 6 p.m. and the boys’ following at approximately 7:30 p.m.

The Greene County girls can clinch to worse than a .500 record on the season with a victory tonight. Coach Chad Morton’s Rams are 10-6 overall and 9-4 in the conference while the Hawks are 3-13 overall and 2-11 in the league. On the boys’ sides South Hamilton is 9-6 while the Rams are 6-9. The Hawks are 8-4 in the conference while the Rams are 4-8. The first time the schools met saw the girls’ game go to the Rams by a 55-39 score while the Hawks won the boys’ game 51-46.
