If you’ve been keeping track of happenings for the 2013 Guthrie River Ruckus this summer, you already know that the fans are picking the Friday night opener by means of some “Battle of the Bands” concerts.

Ruckus Rumble consists of one show per month that started in January and will conclude in June.  The Rumbles are currently being held at the old Community Building on the Guthrie County Fairgrounds but as the weather warms up, will most likely be held as an outdoor event.

The January 5 Ruckus Rumble featured Jason Reed and Kerosene; Kick; and Danny Grause and the Boonetucky Sound with Danny Grause and the Boonetucky Sound winning.

The February 2 Ruckus Rumble featured Shepherds of Soul; Rumley Brothers; Ghost Riders; Rebel Road; and Neil Hewitt with both Ghost Riders and Neil Hewitt winning.

The March 2 Ruckus Rumble will feature Mason Jar and Gypsy Outlaws; Ira Grace and the Bible Belt Prophets; and Brad Morgan.

The April date has yet to be determined, but it will feature winners from the three previous Ruckus Rumbles.
