Monday we celebrate President’s Day, a holiday that honors the birthday of Presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and others.

In observance of the holiday all Perry City Offices and the public library will be closed on Monday.  The McCreary Community Center will be open from noon until 5pm and the City Council meeting that would take place on Monday has been moved to Tuesday evening at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.

In addition, Monday’s garbage and recycling routes will be picked up on Tuesday and Tuesday’s will be picked up Wednesday.
