Notice to Perry residents… an Iowa sex offender registry notice has been issued.

Robert Dean Sims of 1302 Evelyn Street in Perry is part of the state sex offender registry.

Sims’ registration is the result of a 2012 conviction of indecent exposure.

Such notifications aim to serve only as a warning to the public to protect themselves.  Any action taken against this person, including vandalism of property, verbal or written threats of physical harm or assault against them or their families can result in arrest and prosecution.
