The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session last Thursday.
Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright reviewed bids for the next two vehicles to be purchased. Since one of the vehicles is part of the FY12-13 budget, it was recommended to amend that budget by $38,000.00. The second vehicle is part of the FY13-14 budget. The board reviewed the canine operation policies and procedures.
Josh Sebern opened all mowing bids. After review, mowing for the North and South areas was awarded to the lowest bid from Steve and Austin Eischeid and mowing for areas 1, 2, and 3 was awarded to the lowest bid from Chad Redfern.
Kendall and Teresa Kipp spoke to the board about the farm ground they rent from the County. Kipp asked if the board would consider fixing a portion of the fence on the property. Before a decision can be reached, Clifford Carney plans to look at the fence after the board meeting.
