Media Day for Greene County High School track & field athletes and coaches will be held later today in Jefferson. Dean Lansman is the boys’ head coach and Kelly Simpson is the head coach for girls. About 40 boys and 35 girls are out for track and field for the Rams, who are scheduled to begin the outdoor seasons in Jefferson on Monday, March 25 at the Linduska Field track for the Greene County Early Bird Meet. Both coaches expect to have competitive squads this season. With the combination of athletes from the East Greene and Jefferson-Scranton districts for the first time, the Rams move up a class and will compete in Class 3A in the postseason.
